Litigated in the Delaware Supreme Court the seminal case in establishing the responsibilities of a bank/finance company after a repossession under the Uniform Commercial Code, Wilmington Trust Co. v. Conner, Del. Supr., 415 A.2d 773 (1980) Have litigated many of the progeny cases addressing specific issues in that field. Represented numerous debtors in successfully contesting avoiding deficiency judgments in repossession actions and obtaining judgments against banks/finance companies. Consumers in pursuing actions against overly zealous debtor collectors. Periodically give seminars in consumer protection.
INSURANCE BAD FAITH. Have represented insureds in suits against insurance companies and brokers for bad faith claims settlements.
